Please send resume to: Neddy_latimer@spanishamericancenter.org Project Manager for Culturally Specific Initiatives to Address Domestic Violence The selected applicant will provide leadership and hold responsibility for the establishment of this 2-year funded project. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide leadership and understanding of Project Requirements in order to establish the Culturally Specific Initiative to Address Domestic Violence. • Hire and supervise Project Assistant and volunteers. • Develop Work Plan for the project, with deadlines and person responsible • Cultivate and maintain community relationships that will help in carrying out the various components of the project. • Carefully follow the goals etc outlined in the grant proposal written by the Spanish American Center and approved by the MA Department of Public Health. • Attend trainings that provide roadmaps for the success of this project • Complete and submit all reports required by the Division of Sexual and Domestic Violence Prevention and Services/MA Department of Public Health • Engage a doctoral level evaluator to provide the research expertise as described • in the Grant Proposal. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health related field • Minimum of 3 years experience working in community health • Knowledge and experience in the field of domestic violence • Supervisory experience • Bilingual/Bicultural – Spanish/English • Knowledge of the local community (Fitchburg/Leominster, MA • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail • Independent use of technology • Basic understanding of finances and budgeting • Demonstrated written skills – English/Spanish
