Yesterday, RCAP Solutions was delighted to participate in the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities' Franklin County Housing Listening Session in Greenfield, MA. We were proud to be in attendance to support the creation of the Healey-Driscoll Administration's five-year strategic #statewide housing plan. EOHLC Secretary, Ed Augustus Jr., and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll engaged stakeholders and solicited feedback on the plan. It's Time to Promote Equitable Access to Safe Drinking Water for Private Well Owners Across Massachusetts! Amendment #59, "Private Wells Study", to the FY2025 Massachusetts Senate Ways & Means Budget – sponsored by Senator Jamie Eldridge – would provide funding for a study that would be the first step in developing a drinking water program for private wells to ensure that ALL Massachusetts residents have access to safe water! In addition, Amendment #70, "Private Wells Program" – also sponsored by Senator Jamie Eldridge – would expand the existing MassHousing Septic Repair Loan Program (SRLP) to enable low-income homeowners across Massachusetts to access no- or low-interest loans to remediate contaminated private wells.
