We are PROUD to be part of our community and a member of Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce!
Day 20 of our 30 Members in 30 Days Promotion takes us to the heart of community banking at GFA Federal Credit Union! Founded in 1938 by 20 visionary individuals with a collective pledge of $755, GFA has blossomed into a financial institution deeply rooted in community values and member ownership. From its humble beginnings in the Greenwood Street home of Linus Allain, GFA has grown to serve its members through ten locations across New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Over the years, GFA has evolved through four significant renovations and strategic mergers with seven credit unions, expanding its reach and services to become a trusted partner for individuals and businesses alike. But GFA's impact goes far beyond banking. In 2023 alone, GFA's team volunteered over 350 hours to local organizations, focusing on initiatives that promote financial literacy, community service, and personal connections. As part of its commitment to financial education, GFA has partnered with Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner, and Keene High Schools, among others. **COMING SOON:** GFA is gearing up to launch an exciting partnership with Greenlight to empower parents and youth with crucial money management skills and the power of savings. Stay tuned for this fantastic initiative! Membership at GFA is open to ALL through our multiple common bond charter, ensuring that everyone can benefit from the exceptional services and community spirit that GFA embodies. Join us on this journey towards financial empowerment and community prosperity with GFA Federal Credit Union! #GFAFCU #CommunityBanking #FinancialEmpowerment #LocalFirst #GreaterGardnerChamber #CommunityFirst #EconomicGrowth #30Members30Days #ChamberMember #ChamberSpotlight #GardnerGems #SupportLocal #GGardnerCC #memberspotlight #togetherwerestronger #centralma #northcentralmass #gardnerma #centralmass #greatergardner #templetonma #barremass #hubbardstonma #winchendonma #westminsterma #ashburnhamma #chamberstrong #communityisstrength #greatergardner
