We are pleased to share that Brett Brbovic has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective June 14. Brbovic has served as Chief Accounting Officer since 2015. He joined Berkshire from KPMG LLP in 2012. “Brett is a 12-year Berkshire Bank veteran with a strong track record and deep institutional knowledge,” said CEO Nitin Mhatre. “I'm confident in his ability to lead our Finance team.”

Organizations like the Connecticut Bar Foundation (CBF) help support this and other charitable legal causes with millions in interest earned on Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA), which exist to safeguard money that lawyers handle on behalf of their clients. CBF recently honored Berkshire as a Leadership Bank for providing competitive rates on IOLTA and Interest on Trust Accounts (IOTA).
